BE PRESIDENT SANTOS "co-manager for a day" IN CARTAGENA

Bogotá, October 21, 2010.

The President Juan Manuel Santos will vest Network Strategy for Overcoming Extreme Poverty "TOGETHER" and visit the families belonging to this network in the District of Cartagena Lebanon on Friday 22 October in the morning.

Currently, Cartagena de Indias Social has 160 co-managers who work day after day to assist 29 000 families in urban and rural areas to overcome the obstacles of poverty. In total the department of Bolivar has 352 co-managers serving 58 000 781 families across the whole region. Similarly, private business of this department has been linked through nine public - private partnerships.

The Presidential Advisor and Director of Social Action, Diego Molano Aponte will preside over the day in which ministers will also be and the Mayor of Cartagena del Carmen Judith Pinedo Florez.
